What ˌNot to ˈWear trademark A UK
reality TV makeover show, first broadcast in 2001 and first presented by fashion
experts Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine, and later by Lisa Butcher and Micah Paris. In each programme a person, usually a woman, who is considered
unfashionable by their friends and relatives, is given advice by the fashion experts on how to dress better for their body shape. The experts are known for making very direct and honest comments about people’s taste in clothes. The person is then given £2000 to spend on clothes following the experts’ suggestions. After
HAIR STYLISTs and
MAKEUP ARTISTs have given them a makeover, they present themselves wearing their new clothes in front of the fashion experts.
