A. adjective.
1. Great; considerable in size, bulk, number, importance, or (passing into sense A.2) amount or degree. OE.

muckle-mouthed adjective (of a person) disfigured by a disproportionately large mouth; muckle wheel the large wheel of a spinning wheel.
