Mc‧Pher‧son, Ai‧mee Sem‧ple /məkˈfɜːsən $ -ɜːr- ˈeɪmi ˈsempəl/
(1890–1944) a US evangelist, who travelled all around the US in the 1920s teaching the Christian religion. She became extremely popular and had her own RADIO STATION and a very large church in Los Angeles. She was officially charged with tricking people into giving her money, but a court of law decided she was not guilty.
