1. verb trans. Dwell in, inhabit, occupy as a dwelling. Now chiefly fig., (esp. of God, the Holy Spirit) be permanently present in, possess (the heart, soul, mind, etc.). LME.

2. verb intrans. Dwell, abide, live (in). LME.
