Ho Chi Minh /ˌhəʊ tʃiː ˈmɪn/
(1892–1969) the president of North Vietnam during the first part of the Vietnam War. He became popular among people in Europe and the US who opposed US involvement in Vietnam. He was known as Father Ho.
