Di‧o‧ny‧sus /ˌdaɪəˈnaɪsəs/
in Greek mythology, the god of wine and fertility. He is usually connected with uncontrolled behaviour involving lots of drinking, parties, and sex. In Roman mythology his name is Bacchus.
