Comˌmission for ˌRacial Eˈquality, the (abbreviation CRE)
a former British government organization that was established in 1976 to make sure that people of all races were treated fairly and equally by employers, schools etc. It merged with two other agencies (agency) to form Equality and Human Rights Commission in 2007.
