a country in northern South America, with coasts on both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Population: 44,227,550 (2007). Capital: Bogotá. Colombia produces a large quantity of illegal drugs, including
cocaine,

heroin, and
cannabis. The trade is controlled by various groups which are fighting each other for control of the drugs trade and for control of certain regions of the country. Columbia's main
